KYL is designed for users aged 13 and above. The app is not intended for children under the age of 13. Any users under 13 attempting to register will be denied access. For users between 13 and 18, parental supervision is recommended.

• Basic Profile Information:Ward and Municipality details for profile creation (No age information is collected).
• Location Data:(Optional) Used to provide localized leader updates and news.

Data Not Collected

• KYL does not collect sensitive data such as photos, biometric data, or financial information.
• No personal data is collected from users under 13.

Parental Controls and Guidance

Parents and guardians play a vital role in ensuring children’s safe use of KYL. The platform offers the following features to support parental oversight:

• Restricted Accounts:Accounts for users aged 13 to 18 have very limited functionalities.
• Parental Monitoring:KYL encourages parents to supervise their children’s app usage.

Currently, KYL does not display targeted ads or any ads to any users. In the near future when we kickstart the ads, all our advertisements on the platform will be compliant with Google Play’s Families Policy, ensuring they are appropriate for a general audience.
